Batifast
Batifast
Rapid acting cleaning for many types of hard surfaces such as roofs, patios, driveways and walls. Brush area, if possible, then apply Batifast and leave for 10-15 minutes before rinsing.
Batifast is a new formulation of our original product which was known as Batiface. Batifast has been formulated to provide improved cleaning across a wide range of exterior surfaces and be safer for you and the environment. As with Batiface, BATIFAST can be used either diluted or undiluted to suit the cleaning requirements. For general cleaning and light staining a dilution of 50% can used but for areas of heavy greening or staining we recommend using undiluted.
As we produce professional quality products we want to be sure you are using Batifast at its optimum dilution so as to only use what you need. We therefore recommend running a test to a small patch of the surface you are planning to clean.

Product Description
Rapid acting cleaning for many types of hard surfaces such as roofs, patios, driveways and walls. Brush area, if possible, then apply Batifast and leave for 10-15 minutes before rinsing. All products are best used on dry surfaces however, due to its composition, Batifast will still work on damp surfaces but a stronger mix may be required.
If trying to remove black staining, especially from natural stone surfaces, we recommend using BATIMUST which is specifically designed for the cleaning of such surfaces.
Product Specification
Batifast should be applied using a sprayer (however application using a brush, roller or watering can is acceptable) and should be left on the surface for about 10 minutes but no longer than 30-60 minutes, depending on climate and level of staining.
Try not to let Batifast dry on the surface. For very heavy staining you can brush whilst applying and then rinse with water and a broom or pressure washer.
For heavily soiled areas use Batifast undiluted therefore 1 litre of this Rapid Acting Cleaner will cover approx. 6m2.
For light staining or marked areas you can dilute Batifast to a ratio of 50:50 in water which will then cover 12m2.
After the allotted time rinse the area well.
Batifast is a new formulation of our product BATIFACE. The formulation has been improved to provide better cleaning across a wide range of surfaces and to be safer for both you and the environment.
FAQs
What is the best way to apply Batifast?
Batifast can be applied in a number of ways however we recommend using a sprayer as this will give you the best coverage at the ideal concentration and coverage rate. However you can decide upon the best method of application for your particular area. We have a full range of sprayers, many of which can be used with Batiface.
Why does Batifast need to be rinsed?
Batifast is a product that is designed to clean on contact and is therefore not pH neutral. As it is not neutral we recommend that the surface is rinsed however don't be too alarmed as the rinsing does two jobs. Firstly, it is rinsing the product but secondly the mechanical action of rinsing will help to remove the staining especially heavier stains.
Can I use Batifast on any surface?
As Batifast is not pH neutral there are some types of surface upon which we recommend not using Batifast. It can be used on all types of mineral surface such as patio slabs, stone and brickwork as well as plastic surfaces such as uPVC and conservatory roofing sheets. We do not recommend using Batifast on some soft metal surfaces such as aluminium. If you are planning to use Batifast near any surface where there could be a potential conflict then we recommend wiping the surface after application, to ensure any overspray is removed, or covering surfaces to ensure that no overspray can come into contact with the area.
As with all our professional quality cleaning products, if you have any concerns then we recommend applying to a small area to test for compatibility prior to large scale treatment.
I have previously bought Batiface but can't now find it on your site.
Batiface was a very popular product with many of our customers but we no longer manufacture or sell it. We have reformulated Batiface and sell the new product as BATIFAST. If you previously used Batiface then you will find that Batifast will do the same things that Batiface did only better. It is also safer for you and the environment.
