How often do these need to be cleaned?
This really depends upon how close your roof is to overhanging trees or shade that would encourage the growth of moss. The length of the bristles almost has a 'self cleaning' effect as anything that falls onto them tends to get blown or washed off fairly quickly however some debris will hang around so it may be a good idea to give the brushes a shake or rinse once every year or so.
