Product Description
This hand, plant misting applicator is the perfect sprayer for professional and home users alike. It offers plenty of comfort, as well as ease of spraying and an adjustable nozzle that allows you to select the optimum spray pattern and water droplet size for your plants. The high pressure and nozzle design allow for very small droplets and vapor production that is ideal plant misting conditions.
The 1.5-litre fill capacity is larger than the majority of misting sprayers which normally range from 500ml up to 1-litre. The tank and spray head are constructed of strong, rigid plastic so the sprayer will withstand some heavy work.
If spraying larger areas, such as planted beds or even seeded lawns, then the option of locking the spray trigger in the open position is a real bonus. We have found this sprayer to be very handy when watering newly seeded grass areas. Obviously not an entire large lawn but anything up to 20 - 25 square metres can be watered and is preferable to watering with a watering can as grass seed is very light so heavy watering can easily wash the seed from the treated area. The adjustable nozzle allows you to select the perfect droplet size so that you can reach the whole area and water without moving the seed.

Why use a plant misting bottle?
Misting has many benefits for plants of all types. Misting plants can be used as a very gentle method of watering. Misting houseplants can also be a very good way to wet leaves in order to gently clean them and remove dust from plants that can improve their absorption of light as well as making plants look a little better and healthier. One of the main reason why water misting plants is beneficial is that the mist, or very fine atomised water, will increase the humidity in the environment around the plant. This increased humidity is greatly appreciated by most types of plant and especially house plants that can spend much of their time in very dry air which can be made worse by central heating.
Can I mist outdoor plants & my polytunnel?
Misting outdoor plants can be very good especially to remove dust and dirt from their leaves which is obviously beneficial for them however you shouldn't apply mist to leaves during hours of strong sunshine as this can lead to burning so keep the mist spraying for plants to the early hours or during the evening. Plant misting in polytunnels, greenhouses and misting in large indoor growing areas is also very beneficial. It is gently watering the plants and, as we have said, the plant misting increases the humidity which many types of crop appreciate.
Can I use this misting bottle to water as well?
Yes this plant misting bottle is fitted with a fully adjustable spray nozzle meaning that it will not only atomise the water droplets to product the finest mist, perfect for the misting of plants and crops, but with just a turn of the nozzle change the spray pattern to enable you to water both potted plants but also seeded areas and just general watering. The nozzle can also be adjusted to produce a jet that is great for reaching into hard to reach areas.
Can I use this to spray weed killer?
There is no reason why this can't be used to apply a water-based weed killer as the solution would normally be pH neutral. However, with the adjustable nozzle and locking thumb trigger this sprayer is designed for watering small plants & trees both indoors and outdoors. The adjustable nozzle also makes it ideal for misting the plants providing moisture for the plants leaves which can help to regulate the humidity levels surrounding the plant which can be especially important for indoor plants.
